The Voyager-1 CRS instrument was turned off on 02/26/2025 (DOY 56) as part of the power management plan.

The LA1 rate consists of greater than 0.5 MeV/nuc nuclei, principally protons, and is sensitive to low-energy phenomena in interplanetary space (e.g., co-rotating interaction regions, associated enhancements and solar flares).

For a list of excluded times please see Excluded Times for Voyager-1.

The Voyager-1 Cosmic Ray Subsystem instrument heater was turned off on Day 138 (05/18/2022) as part of the new power management plan.
