Voyager Cosmic Ray Sub SystemThe PGH rate consists of greater than 70 MeV/nuc nuclei, primarily protons, and is a good indicator of the level of modulation of galactic cosmic rays. It can also respond to large solar flares.
The Voyager-2 Cosmic Ray Subsystem instrument heater was turned off on Day 178 (06/27/2019) as part of the new power management plan.
