Voyager Cosmic Ray Sub SystemThe Voyager-1 CRS instrument was turned off on 02/26/2025 (DOY 56) as part of the power management plan.
The PGH rate consists of greater than 70 MeV/nuc nuclei, primarily protons, and is a good indicator of the level of modulation of galactic cosmic rays. It can also respond to large solar flares.

The Voyager-1 Cosmic Ray Subsystem instrument heater was turned off on Day 138 (05/18/2022) as part of the new power management plan.
